Apologies for not updating Gymbohaven

Ladies - I want to apologize for not having Gymbohaven fully updated with lines and pricing. I know that a lot of you rely on the site for planning purchases, for resale and to see what you didn't get from a collection/line. I am working on it slowly.

As of August 2010 I came down with some 'bug' - it made me disoriented, dizzy, nauseous, my world literally flew around me and I couldn't get it back. I've been on several meds to try and get this to go away and to several doctors to find out what exactly is causing it. I've been to a Neurologist, Cardiologist, ENT and a regular doctor. At the moment I'm waiting for space at Mayo Clinic for them to do more testing and find out whats happening.

In between all this we moved. Amber started a new school, summer hit and I've been trying my best to keep myself occupied so that I don't think about how I feel. There are days I can function, drive, paint lol - but other days I don't dare drive, I sleep on the couch and cuddle up with Amber. Spending time on the computer and watching tv isn't the best for me lol one more thing the doctor noticed was my Nystagmus (rapid eye movement) - makes it a tad hard to concentrate on a screen.

I promise that soon the site will get updated, its just going to take some time to get there.

Thank you for understanding, I really appreciate it!!

Amy

  2. It is so much work for you! Maybe you could get some people who know what they are doing to help? I feel bad that you have been so sick and while we do all love gymbohaven, we also know there are more important things in life--like YOUR health! So please take care of yourself and no worries!!

  4. oh, get better soon Amy! "ppods" took the words right out of my mouth. Though I appreciate your work, your health is much more important in the whole grand scheme of things. Good luck with your Mayo placement. Vertigo is an awful feeling and can last for awhile! I had it after a surgery as a side effect of anesthesia. I wanted to crawl out of my skin, in between dry heaving :( Hang in there!

  7. My SIL had this and it ended up being she wasnt eating enough salt. She was on some low-sodium health thing and for a couple months was very dizzy etc. Now she is fine since she has added more salt to her foods

  8. Regarding help with the site; you might try contacting the local high school/college computer class instructors to see if a student could volunteer for class credit or something. I hope you get better soon.

  9. I'm so sorry! You might look into Lyme disease - watch Under Our Skin (not so much for the conspiracy theory part, but the missed diagnosis/appropriate treatment part). Many Lyme patients have symptoms similar to yours. Good luck and God Bless!
